WHAT IS THE ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM IN CHINA IF I BRING SOME ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES?

Power Voltage in China is 220volt / 50 hertz and plugs and sockets are mostly 2-pin round plug, otherwise western 3-pin or, occasionally, universal. Power is supplied continuously 24 hours per day except in some very remote areas. Being without electricity is unlikely to affect you unless traveling.

  1. Electricity (from the Greek word ἤλεκτρον, (elektron), meaning amber, and finally from New Latin ēlectricus, "amber-like") is a general term that encompasses a variety of phenomena resulting from the presence and flow of electric charge. These include many easily recognizable phenomena such as lightning and static electricity, but in addition, less familiar concepts such as the electromagnetic field and electromagnetic induction.
