Weather of HongKong

Hong Kong has a subtropical climate with hot, humid summers that can reach temperatures of 95°F (35°C)
and humidity close to 100%. From May through September heavy rains and typhoons with strong winds
are likely and can cause ferries to stop operating. Hong Kong’s weather is at its best from October through
November with clear, sunny days and temperatures in the 60s F (20s C). December through February is the
coldest time of year. The most popular times of year for tourism are during March through April and
October through November. Many hotels offer substantial discounts outside of these times. Additionally,
travel can be difficult during Chinese New Year in late January/early February.
